Visited Himilo Agro Farm, a smart farm that uses modern agricultureal technology and methods to produce non-conventional cash crops, including Strawberries, chili peppers and various types of Mint.
The farm is owned by a group of Somali investors who are changing the face of smart farming. With the recurring drought and floods compounded by the Locust infestation, smart farming is the only sustainable modern method that uses less reources and maximizes agricultural produce.
